Cookie Policy

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used by PVE SERVER HUB. Cookies are small values stored by a browser and returned with relevant requests.

Local storage stays in the browser until the site or visitor changes or clears it.

We use only storage needed to provide a requested setting, signed-in feature or security control. We do not currently use advertising, behavioural-tracking or third-party analytics cookies.

The website stores your selected Dark, Light or PVE server theme under pve-theme and your site-accent choice under pve-site-accent in local storage until changed or cleared. Your language choice uses local storage and a first-party pve-site-language cookie; the cookie lasts up to one year and is refreshed when the preference is applied.

For signed-in members, the site-accent choice is also saved with the member profile so it can follow the account to another browser. After verified sign-in, the website synchronises that saved choice into local storage on the current browser.

If you use Discord sign-in when member features are available, the website sets strictly necessary session and security storage. This keeps you signed in, links the browser to the server-side session, protects the sign-in exchange and helps prevent forged account actions.

• Authentication storage is protected with secure production settings and is not available to advertising services.
• Discord client secrets and private access credentials are kept server-side and are not placed in browser-readable public variables.
• Session storage lasts until its configured expiry, you sign out or the session is revoked for security. Short-lived sign-in security values expire after the sign-in attempt.
• Blocking or clearing this storage prevents sign-in or signs the member out.

Following a link to Discord or another provider opens a service controlled by that provider. It may set its own cookies under its own policy.

PVE SERVER HUB does not control storage set on a third-party website.

You can inspect, block or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing pve-theme returns the website to your browser's preferred colour scheme.

Clearing pve-site-accent returns that browser to the standard PVE red accent until a signed-in saved choice is synchronised again. Clearing both copies of pve-site-language returns the Hub to automatic device-language detection.

Blocking strictly necessary authentication storage means member sign-in cannot work.

Because no non-essential cookies are currently used, the website does not display an optional-cookie consent banner. If non-essential analytics, advertising, embedded media or tracking is introduced, we will update this policy and obtain any consent required before enabling it.

Material changes will receive a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-service notice. Questions can be raised privately through the Support page and PVE DAYZ Discord ticket system.
